Michael Mack

Michael Mack

Producer

Michael Mack is an Australian film and Theatre actor. Michael created Play Dead Theatre in 2016 with the production of Stephen Belber’s TAPE directed by Jennifer Sarah Dean. A huge fan of comedy, Michael is drawn to plays that use black comedy to address taboo subjects, believing that addressing these issues can allow the stigma associated with them to be broken down. The name Play Dead Theatre is connected with the game of playing dead as a child and how the innocence of such a game is lost as an adult. Michael believes in the importance of humour even in the darkest of times.
